What is knob and tube wiring?

何为旋钮和管道式布线？

旋钮和管道式布线主要应用于1880年到1949年。布线只使用黑线（火线）和白线 （中线）两种导线。加拿大有150万房屋属此类布线。导线最初用柏油和纯棉混合包住，后改为橡胶布。旋钮和管道材料使用陶瓷作为绝缘。瓷旋钮及瓷柱用于固定导线。瓷管道用于导线惯穿木结构的导管以防摩擦。

旋钮和管道式布线特点：

1， 无接地线，电插座只使用俩触头；

2， 由60A 的主电箱供电；

3， 只用于 15A 保险丝保护的插座；

4， 最多用12 条线路.
