莉雅泰勒(Leah Taylor Roy)是一位成功的商界女性、企业家和热忱的自由党成员。莉雅泰勒毕业于多伦多大学三一学院(Trinity College at the University of Toronto)，获得商业学位后，她进入哈佛大学(Harvard University)攻读公共政策硕士学位，研究方向为国际金融和发展。

在新市(Newmarket)长大的莉雅泰勒，生长在一个关系和睦、以公共服务与政治为核心的家庭。她  和她的丈夫Peter共同抚养了6个孩子。莉雅泰勒曾建立了一个非营利组织并为此感到自豪，该组    织专注为发展中国家的小企业提供实际解决方案。莉雅泰勒积极支持许多本地的慈善机构并是这些组织的活跃成员，包括CHATS、Habitat For Humanity、CMHA、Inn from the Cold、Heart and Stroke和Voices of Joy –一个无门槛、欢迎任何人加入的合唱团。她在过去的工作中曾与有不同特殊需求的成人及家庭合作过，了解我们社区中这些成员所面临的挑战。

Leah Taylor Roy is a successful business woman, entrepreneur and passionate Liberal. A graduate of Trinity College at the University of Toronto with a degree in Commerce, Leah then attended Harvard University where she received a Masters in Public Policy with a focus on International Finance and Development.

Leah’s passion for public policy and business aligned while working at the World Bank, followed by a career with highly regarded Management Consulting firm McKinsey and Company where her focus was with large Canadian corporations. Leah Taylor Roy then served as Executive Vice President for a US-based co-generation company.

Leah grew up in Newmarket, part of a close family where public service and politics were front and centre. She and her husband Peter have helped raise 6 children. Leah is proud to have established a not-for-profit that focused on practical solutions to support small businesses in developing countries and is an active supporter of numerous local charities, including CHATS, Habitat for Humanity, CMHA, Inn from the Cold, Heart and Stroke and Voices of Joy - a local choir for people of all abilities. She has also worked with adults with special needs and their families in various capacities and understands the challenges faced by these members of our communities.

Leah plans to bring her education, business background and volunteer experience to support working families of York Region and Canada. She understands that now is a critical juncture to address climate change and other key economic and social issues facing Aurora-Oak

Ridges-Richmond Hill residents and Canada as a whole.

A resident of Aurora, Leah Taylor Roy is running in this election because she wants to ensure that all the residents of Aurora-Oak Ridges-Richmond Hill have a voice in Ottawa fighting for their issues and for the next generation of Canadians.
