2016年上映了一部电影《伦敦陷落》（ London Has Fallen ），讲述了一个美国特工护送总统到伦敦圣保罗教堂，参加英国首相葬礼的故事。恐怖分子袭击了多国领导人，整座城市陷入了混乱和瘫痪之中。
电影情节紧张，但毕竟是电影。对于基督教世界来说，现实情况是：伦敦真的陷落了！
最近，在社交网络，伦敦又成为弟兄姐妹谈论的热门话题：500个教堂关闭，423个清真寺开张，伦敦成了“伦敦斯坦”，穆斯林做礼拜的声音盖过了大本钟的声音！
在伦敦，一个个教堂倒下去，一个个清真寺建起来！
自2001年以来，伦敦各宗派的500间教堂已经变成了私人房屋、餐馆或酒吧。
此消彼长，清真寺则在迅速扩张。海厄特联合教会被埃及群体买了下来，改建成了清真寺；圣彼得教堂已经被改建成了麦地那清真寺；砖块街清真寺是在前卫理公会的教堂旧址上建立起来的。
伊斯兰团体买下教堂，将其改建成清真寺或伊斯兰文化中心。从远处看，这些建筑外型与教堂没有多大分别。但仔细看，你会发现：十字架被拆除了，基督教装饰被拆除了，清真寺独有的装饰加上去了。
在英国基督教衰败的废墟之上，拥有423所新建清真寺的“伦敦斯坦”就这样建立起来了。
一个走向兴旺，一个走向衰微。除了教堂数量变化，人数上的对比更加明显。

能容纳1000多人的大教堂，只有20个人参加礼拜。只能容纳100人的清真寺却人满为患，祈祷的穆斯林不得不占满了整个街道！
一个18世纪的教堂，只有12个人来礼拜，而且还都是老年人！
四分之一的英国基督徒年龄超过65岁，而将近一半的英国穆斯林都在25岁以下！
如此下去，预计到2020年，参加祷告的穆斯林人数将至少达到68万3千人，而每周参加聚会的基督徒则会降至67万9千人。
不只伦敦如此，英国大多数重要城市都有大量的穆斯林人口：曼彻斯特（15.8%）、伯明翰（21.8%）和布拉德福（24.7%）。2015年，穆罕默德（包括Muhammad、Mohammad等）已成为英国最常用的人名。
基督教在下降，伊斯兰教在增长。当活跃的穆斯林人数超过去教会的人数，基督教还能说是英国国教吗？
