虽然城市道路上都有限速标识，

但老司机们都知道，

只要没有监控和警察，

所谓限速就是聋子耳朵。

不过从今年夏天开始，

BC省的司机就有”苦头“吃了。

据报道，

BC省将新增35个十字路口测速摄像头。

其中大温就占了31个。

不同于以往，

这次新增的测速装备

一天24小时全天运转，

一年365天无休。

据统计，

卑诗省每天约发生900起交通事故，

其中超过一半以上的事故

事发地在十字路口。

而事故多发原因就是超速。

魁省和沙省早先实行了在十字路口

新增摄像头后，

交通事故发生率明显下降，

在路口超速行驶的现象也有所好转。

BC省府表示新增的35个路口测速监控

只是一个开始，

在前期调研中，

一共对140个路口进行了研究。

如果效果显著，

下一步计划就是全省普及。
