爱德华王子岛中文学校概况

EI Chinese School is a non-profit school, whose staff are all volunteers. It was officially established and opened in 2007. Approximately 120 children have learned Chinese in the school, and over 80 volunteers and teachers have made significant contributions while serving the school.

爱德华王子岛中文学校创建2007年，是一所全部由自愿者组成，以儿童为教学对象的非盈利性学校。自成立以来，已有120多名孩子在本校学习中文，有80多名志愿者为学校做出了巨大贡献。

The school~q~s main mission is to support children in learning Chinese language, understanding Chinese history, promoting Chinese culture, and strengthening Sino-Western communications to create a joyful learning environment.

学校的办学宗旨是促进孩子们：学习中文知识,了解中国历史，弘扬中华文化，增进中西交流，共建孩子乐园。

These classes focus on practical conversation. Children enjoy the joyful learning environment full of games.

以会话为主，增强趣味性学习。

These classes emphasize reading and writing. Children can learn much about Chinese culture.

以读写为主，注重汉语文化素质培养。

The school has made gratifying achievements since it was first established. With the continued support of the community, today~q~s Chinese school, like a seed on the island, is continuing to geminate root, sprout, blossom, will bear fruitful results while growing in this red soil.
