Never has the welfare of life on our planet been more important than right now. And while the threat to the existence of wild animals is now widely recognized, many people are not aware that plants are also in danger. The 2019 Beijing horticultural Expo is themed "Live Green, Live Better" promoting green production, consumption and living. Transportation throughout the site isoriented to walking or the use of bicycles or e-bikes. The rainwater collection system on the pavilion~q~s steel roof and underground storage pond will be usedfor terrace field irrigation and additional glass panels have been installed on the roof to utilize solar energy. As the expo aims to integrate horticulture with daily life, it createsa platform that highlights the vital importance of nature and the ways in which we can and need to protect it.

保护地球上的生命得以繁衍生息可谓重中之重。虽然目前公众已经意识到许多野生动物面临的威胁，但大家可能并不知道植物也危在旦夕。2019年中国北京世界园艺博览会以“绿色生活，美丽家园”为主题推动绿色生产，消费和生活。据悉，世园会场内交通会以步行，自行车和电动自行车为主。展馆钢屋顶和地下储水池的雨水收集系统将用于露台田间灌溉，屋顶上安装了额外的玻璃面板用来充分利用太阳能。本届世园会旨在将园艺与日常生活融为一体。主办方创造了一个平台用来强调大自然的重要性以及我们需要掌握保护它的方式。
