And I felt really bad about it. It is such an important landmark architecture that attracted tons of tourists to visit every year. Notre Dame is a typical Gothic church. It is world renowned because it is a European architectural history landmark site. It is considered one of the finest examples of french Gothic architecture, and it is one of the first buildings to use buttresses. Victor Hugo wrote a famous story called The Hunchback of Dotre Dame. The story takes place around the cathedral, the English title is “The Hunchback of Dotre Dame” and it has also been made into movies. It centred around a hunchback bell ringer of medieval Notre Dame and his love for a gypsy dancer, which left me a really deep impression since I was a child, and I~q~ve dreamed to go visit there.
